We are a family owned and operated business. The owners James and Doreen DeMasi have been local residents their entire lives. James grew up just around the corner on Avenue A, while Doreen grew up in Colonie, and moved to Schenectady after meeting James. James started working at Nott Street Auto 25 Years ago as a head mechanic. In December 2001, James and Doreen made the leap to ownership when the previous lessee was in a position from Sunoco to either buy or board up the building. On this day they became the proud owners of Nott Street Auto. 25 years later the shop has evolved to include James' Son, Henry DeMasi as shop manager. Another member of the Nott Street Auto team is Joel Elston, the store manager.
